|---|---|---|
| Run demand response, VPP, or other grid flexibility programs on DERs (batteries, EV chargers, thermostats) | Your program at a glance | Enroll members, schedule an event, and read the results |
| Monitor, plan, or analyze your distribution grid from AMI, SCADA, and GIS | Your grid at a glance | Find an asset on the map and read its usage, voltage, and SCADA telemetry |
| Build on the Texture API | Developer Quickstart | Read telemetry, send commands, and receive webhooks |
Connect your data#
If you're responsible for getting data into Texture, find the row that matches where your data lives.
| Your data | What to do |
|---|---|
| Homeowners connect their own devices | Create a Connect link in Connect → Connect Link and send it to them. They sign in with their device manufacturer accounts, and their devices appear in your workspace. You can also generate the link from the API or embed Connect with an SDK. |
| You manage a fleet or commercial portfolio | Upload sites, customers, and device IDs in Connect → Bulk Upload, then add manufacturer credentials in Integration Hub. Texture syncs those devices on a recurring schedule. |
| You have grid or utility data (AMI, SCADA, GIS), a custom source, or are moving from another platform | Our Solutions team sets this up with you. Texture ingests files from your existing systems, typically delivered over SFTP or to Amazon S3 on a regular schedule. Contact us, and see Get your data into Texture. |
For every option, see ways to connect devices and data.
