Set up your Texture account

Create your Texture account and set up your organization.

Create your account#

  1. Go to accounts.texturehq.com/signup.
  2. Enter your work email, first name, last name, and a password of at least 8 characters.

Verify your email#

Check your inbox for a verification email from Texture and click the link. You need to verify your email before you can create or join an organization.

Join or create an organization#

An organization groups your team, workspaces, and data in Texture. Your role determines what you can access and manage.

What happens next depends on your email:

  • You were invited. Texture shows your pending invitation. Click Join selected organizations to join.
  • Your company already uses Texture. If your work email matches an existing organization, request access. The organization's admins get an email and approve or deny your request.
  • Your organization is new to Texture. Create it with the steps below.

If you're creating a new organization#

Details#

Enter your organization name. This is how your organization appears to team members. You can also upload a logo (PNG or JPEG, up to 5 MB).

Location#

Select your country. You can also set your industry, timezone, and preferred unit system.

If you select Device Manufacturer or Third-Party Demand Orchestrator as your industry, you'll also be asked to accept Texture's integration terms.

Invite your team#

Enter your teammates' email addresses and choose their role: Admin or User. You can also skip this step and invite people later.

Invited teammates get an email with a link to create their account or sign in.

When you finish, Texture creates your organization with two workspaces, production and sandbox, and opens the dashboard. See Workspaces.

Manage your team later#

After setup, admins can invite additional members and manage roles for other members from Settings → Roles & Permissions.

  1. Go to Settings → Roles & Permissions.
  2. Click Invite member.
  3. Enter the email address and choose a role.

Only admins can invite people, manage roles, and manage organization settings such as SSO and multi-factor authentication.

Secure your organization#

Multi-factor authentication (MFA)#

Admins can require members to use multi-factor authentication.

  1. Go to Settings → Organization.
  2. Turn on Multi-Factor Authentication.

When Texture prompts for MFA, it emails the member a six-digit verification code.

Single sign-on (SSO)#

To have your team sign in through your identity provider, see Enable SSO.

Texture is SOC 2 Type II compliant. To request a copy of the SOC 2 report, visit the Trust Portal or contact us.
