Look up a member or site
Find the site or meter record behind a name or address, and locate it on the grid
Texture's global search finds sites, meters, and contacts by name, address, account number, or meter ID and takes you directly to the record.
Start with search#
Press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows) anywhere in Texture, or click the search box in the header. Results are grouped by record type, with a count on each group.

Use the scope chips — All, Devices, Sites, Contacts — to narrow the search, or press ⌘1 through ⌘4 to switch between them.
Search shows the first few matches per group, and when there are more, the group ends with a link such as View all 34 sites matching "Maple" that opens the full list already filtered to your query.
In Explore, clicking a result moves the map to that record and opens its panel rather than leaving the map. Elsewhere in Texture, clicking a result opens the record's own page.
The site record#
In Explore, open Sites and click a site to open its panel, then click View full details to open the full site page. The site page opens with an Overview — a map of the site, street view thumbnail, weather, and linked contact. If there are open alerts on the site, an Alerts banner appears above the overview. The remaining sections follow.

Grid Infrastructure is the fastest way to see which transformer a site is downstream of, and from there to navigate up to the feeder or substation. Clicking any element in that section opens it in Explore.
If Meters & Usage reports that no meters are connected, no meter has been linked to the site yet. See Troubleshoot missing data.
The meter record#
The meter page is organized into sections. Sections that do not apply to a meter are omitted.
A site with generation often carries both a consumption meter and a production meter, so two meters at one address does not necessarily indicate a duplicate record.

| Demand | Demand over time. On a net-metered meter, a Net / Gross toggle appears — Net shows the net demand band (values below zero indicate export); Gross shows consumption and production as separate lines. |

| Device Information | Meter ID, manufacturer, model, and other metadata. |
| Program enrollments | Any grid services programs this meter is enrolled in. |
| Emissions | Estimated emissions associated with this meter's consumption. |
| Recent activity | Filterable log of alerts, connection events, and updates for this meter. |
Drag the Demand chart to scroll through history; zoom to increase resolution from daily to hourly, 15-minute, and 5-minute intervals, as far as that meter's data allows.
Today's readings usually have not landed yet. If a chart looks thin, switch to a longer window to confirm whether history is present.
Starting from a reported outage#
When a member reports an outage at a specific address, start with the site:
- Search for the address and open the site record.
- Check the Alerts banner for any open alerts — review each one using Read an alert.
- Under Grid Infrastructure, navigate to the transformer and feeder to see whether the problem is isolated to this site or affects a broader area.
- In Meters & Usage, check whether the meter has recent telemetry. If it looks empty, see Troubleshoot missing data.
