FranklinWH produces whole-home battery systems, energy management platforms, and grid-interactive storage solutions for residential applications. The company develops integrated battery storage, smart energy management software, and backup power systems. Their platforms optimize solar energy storage, provide grid services, and deliver reliable backup power for residential and small commercial market segments.
Integration Details#
FranklinWH devices are integrated into the Texture platform using our standard OEM integration approach. We never use web scraping or reverse engineering in our device integrations.
Historical Backfill#
Texture can backfill historical energy data for FranklinWH systems so your metrics extend back before the connection date. See Historical Backfill for the full overview.
FranklinWH-specific details:
- Granularity: the FranklinWH API exposes historical data at daily resolution, so backfilled metrics are daily data points rather than sub-hourly intervals.
- Chunking: because data is fetched one day at a time, a long range (e.g. a full year) is processed as many sequential jobs and takes longer to complete than a 15-minute-granularity OEM.
- System identifier: devices are identified by serial number.
Note: Backfilled data is queried through the standard Metrics API — the same endpoints used for live data. To request a backfill, contact your Texture representative with the serial numbers and date range.
