Uplight
AI-powered DERMS and VPP platform for utility decarbonization
On Roadmap This integration is on our roadmap. Contact your Texture account team for early access or to discuss your requirements.
Overview
The Uplight integration connects Texture with Uplight's DER management and virtual power plant (VPP) platform. Uplight, which acquired AutoGrid from Schneider Electric in 2023, combines AutoGrid's DERMS and VPP capabilities with Uplight's utility customer engagement platform to deliver an integrated solution for clean energy programs.
Uplight's DERMS leverages AI algorithms and predictive analytics to intelligently orchestrate DERs, balancing economic conditions (such as market prices and tariffs), DER operating parameters, and dispatch objectives to support delivery of capacity, energy, and ancillary services. The platform serves as a centralized system-of-systems to coordinate grid optimization and flexibility management activities across multiple demand response programs.
Key Capabilities
- AI-powered orchestration — Advanced algorithms and predictive analytics for optimal DER dispatch
- VPP management — Aggregate and coordinate distributed resources as virtual power plants
- Multi-program coordination — Centralized platform managing multiple DR programs simultaneously
- Market optimization — Balance market prices, tariffs, and grid conditions for maximum value
- Customer engagement — Integrated customer experience for enrollment and program participation
Category
TPDO / DERMS — Integrate with third-party DER orchestration and distributed energy resource management systems for demand response, virtual power plants, and grid services.
